Privacy Policy

Sammy Dinneen (SD) takes your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy sets out how he will use your personal information and who it may be shared with.

SD reserves the right to alter and update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the most recent update is stated at the bottom of this Privacy Policy.

What information does SD collect about you and how does he collect it?

SD may collect and process data about you (your “information”) when:

  • you send SD any correspondence including responding to correspondence from SD;
  • you request information from SD or ask SD to contact you;
  • SD considers that it is beneficial for you for us to do so, for example if you may be interested to hear about a new course/product on offer; and
  • in performance of SD’s contracts with you (if any).

The information SD collect may include: your name, e-mail address, title, occupation, company, industry, region, relationship to us, reason for contacting us, billing details, payment methods and any message you submit to him. 

Lawful bases for Processing

The bases SD has for processing your information are:

  • SD’s legitimate business interests to keep you up to date with events and information SD feels you will benefit from (Legitimate Interest);
  • the performance of anticipation of performance of SD’s services via contracts (Contract).

How will SD use your information?

SD may use your information in the following ways:

  • to provide you with information about himself, events, or other matters which SD consider may interest you.
  • to ensure that SD’s site’s content is presented as effectively as possible for you; and
  • to notify you about changes to SD’s services.

Who has access to your information?

As appropriate SD’s team will access your information for the purposes described above. SD may provide your information to his professional advisors as appropriate. SD may also disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, or if we believe that such action is necessary to:

  • protect and defend our rights or property or those of our users or
  • protect the personal safety of our users or the public.

Marketing

SD may collect the e-mail addresses of those who send him e-mail messages; however, he will not share those addresses with any unaffiliated third party, except where you agree that he may use your information to provide you with marketing information that you request or that he feels may interest you.

Where does SD process your information?

SD will not transfer your information to or store it at a location outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) to countries which do not have as developed data protection laws unless adequate safeguards are in place.

How does SD keep your information secure?

SD has implemented measures meeting generally accepted standards of technology and operational security in order to protect your personally identifiable information from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction.

All your information is stored on secure servers and he will protect your information in line with legal requirements.

Despite these precautions, however, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and he cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to his site or that unauthorised persons will not obtain access to your information.

SD will only keep your data for as long as is necessary.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your information and should direct any request on your information to SD.

SD would like to keep your personal information accurate. You have the right to correct, update or change your information.

You have the right to ask SD not to process your information (or pass your information to other companies or organisations) for marketing purposes. He ensures all of his marketing emails have an opt-out link or option to let him know if you do not want to hear from him. SD encourages you to tell him if you do not want to receive marketing or other communications from him. You also have the right to ask him to erase your information at any time.

Private Lessons

    Whether you are a beginner, an aspiring handbalancer, a yogi wanting to perfect inversions or a fitness fanatic, Sammy can work with you on a one-to-one basis to help you master your aims and perfect your skills.

    Handstand training should be invigorating and energising so Sammy will help you have fun and find what works for your body.  There is no limit to what can be achieved with hard work and dedicated training.

    Private classes can be arranged at a time to suit you, online or in person.

    These HIIT style handstand classes include handstand drills against the wall, abs or hip flexor exercises for compression work along with a flexibility focus.

    The aim of the classes is to work on your strength and all you to develop your core, mobility and endurance from home.

  • Make your press to handstand dreams a reality using Sammy’s step by step system. This is not just a one size fits all model. This is a course that caters to the individual body and provides a support network to motivate you along the way.

    In this 6-week exclusive course with limited places, Sammy will teach you the principals of how to press to handstand and the technique behind it, giving you the tools for working on the flexibility, mobility, compression, strength and balance. Plus the theory and pathway of where and how the body moves. If you put yourself in the right environment, you can achieve what you thought was impossible.

  • Beginners Handstand Assessment

  • Never done a handstand before but always been intrigued? Attempted an inversion in yoga but don’t really know how to go all the way?  Lacking in confidence and want to see if you have the ability?

    This beginners’ assessment will help you develop an understanding and awareness of how to do a handstand against the wall. Through this assessment, Sammy will be able to measure your flexibility (both active and passive), your strength and ensure you start developing this skill in a safe and healthy way.  You will be asked to record and photograph yourself doing various exercises and in various positions to enable Sammy to study your body, its limitations and its capabilities.

    Includes a bespoke assessment, a detailed report and a bespoke programme. The assessment, report and programme will be sent to you by email.  You will then be able to work through the programme in your own time, from your own home.

  • Have you been learning handstands for a while but are unable to master the press?

    A difficult but rewarding element of handstand practice is the elusive press which requires control, strength and discipline. Many handbalancers struggle for years to achieve this as they are unable to understand what is missing from their practice. While this won’t have you pressing immediately, it will give you the technique and understanding needed to start integrating these exercises into your daily practice. The assessment includes a detailed study of your strength and flexibility to enable Sammy to analyse your current ability and provide a report and programme that will have you working on flexibility, mobility, compression, strength and balance.
